Serafín Méndez-Méndez, Ph.D. Dr. Méndez acts as a consultant for PAP and undertakes many of the roles of the Executive Director. An accomplished grant writer, he has brought close to $250,000 in programmatic funding to PAP since he joined the organization. He has his own consulting firm and works closely with the non-profit sector in Connecticut and Massachusetts |
Georgina Felix
Senior Program Coordinator
Georgina was
one of the founders of the organization and has worked with PAP since
its inception. She has taken a leading voice in the implementation of
the new system of care movement to empower parents of children with
mental health issues. She currently also serves as president of the
board of directors of FAVOR, Inc.
Luisa Rivera, Program Coordinator
Luisa is a former
president of the board of directors of PAP. She currently
coordinates the information and referral and the outreach programs
for PAP. As a former special education teacher for the Hartford
Public Schools, Luisa has a wealth of information and experience
about the many dynamics that affect children with disabilities and
mental health diagnoses.
Ada Suarez, MSW
Ada was one
of the founders of PAP/ For many years she acted as a technical advisor
for the organization as part of her job with the Office of Protection
and Advocacy in the State of Connecticut. She currently acts as a
trainer in many of the activities sponsored by PAP
María Rodríguez
María is an
outreach worker for PAP. She works in outreach in the area of system of
care. She began her work with PAP as a volunteer parent and is known for
her dynamism and cooperation.
Sonia González, MSW, M.Div.
Sonia is a
member of the board of directors of PAP. She has been a great supporter
of PAP since its foundation and has worked relentlessly to foster the
grow and development of PAP
